The Ibero-American Society for Eighteenth Century Studies is a group of scholars interested in diverse areas of the long eighteenth century in Spain, Portugal and the Americas. We are an affiliate society of the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies, and meet during the ASECS annual meeting. We sponsor annually a graduate student essay prize and travel awards for students and independent scholars to assist with presenting a paper at the ASECS meeting.
